Research & Implementation
My ability to conduct research, gain relevant insights and then apply that knowledge was one of the reasons why I was asked to join this group.
Composure
Many high pressure situations presented themselves through the group work, but through being able to maintain my composure, I could always provide an objective outlook on the situation or problem and address them accordingly.
Teamwork / Collaboration
A strong of transdisciplinary students that each played to our strengths to see this product come to fruition.

FinWit is a financial literacy board games for high school students. The game challenges students to answer questions related to financial literacy is order to win money (point system). When they collect enough they can pass through a gate and move to an inner tier. The first to the middle wins. The game features lightning rounds, answering true or false questions, multiple choice questions and gate round question, articulating a financial concept in 15 seconds without using words in the answer.

FinWit features 5 key financial topics: superannuation, investments, banks, loans, and tax. These were selected to align with the OECD's financial education expectations and the report 'Australians understanding money' by the governmental organisation Financial Literacy Australia. It is our understanding from research and testing that a basic understanding of these 5 topics will leave students prepared to interact with the financial sphere.

Through testing at three schools we already have keen interest from students and teachers alike. Creating additional content packs, especially syllabus related content presents an opportunity for the development of the board game to continue.
